Until...
You stay up until 1 am Friday night (oops, Saturday morning) working on a birthday present for your husband's bosses wife;
AND,
you get up after only 6 1/2 hours, heading downstairs in your nightgown, messy hair and unbrushed teeth;
AND,
you start doing your taxes, because by heck, it's already March 27th, and you don't know if you owe or are getting a refund;
AND,
you search for OVER AN HOUR for your daughter's social security card, because the Turbo Tax won't let you get past the first introduction page without adding the new child's SSN;
AND,
while searching, frantically, you hear your sweet baby child playing with the phone, and dialing buttons, and you think to yourself, "ah, it's a good thing we don't have long-distance, she could be dialing India or France",
AND,
after she abandons the phone, with the line open, and you hear the beep-beep-beep, you search and find the phone and hang it up, then you hear a knock on the door;
AND,
your son runs to the door, thinking it's his friend to come and play, you warn him (again) to ask who it is before he opens the door, and the big, manly voice says, "It's the police",
AND,
here you are, sans shower, in your nightgown, messy hair, face and teeth, and you have to answer the door, because your um, "cute" daughter dialed 911, and when they tried to call you back, twice, the line was busy, because she hid the phone from her mommy, and it took you too long to find it.
Yes, it was an eventful morning....
